The children have been targets of destruction of the darkness in the world. Drugs, violence, witchcraft and prostitution have reached the little ones, and the media has been widely used to take away the innocence of children.
And what has the church done to prevent all this? God took action and inclined his heart to the rising of the Junior Gideon’s army. Children 7 to 12 years old who pray 15 minutes a day in favor of the children of all nations. Get to know the course for Junior Gideon Counselors.

Goal:
This course constitutes an indispensable tool for the empowerment of Junior Gideon Leader.
Each Counselor of the Junior Gideon’s shall be at the forefront of this ministry in churches, leading the children to seek an abundant Christian life in presence of God.
The Counselors become “models” or references for the children.

Purpose:
The objective of the School is to prepare in Biblical knowledge, spiritual understanding, pedagogical and psychological of the little ones, so that they can fulfill their calling in the army of the Lord as Junior Gideon’s.
Each child is in fertile ground for sowing the Word, but to bear fruit, it is necessary that the character of Christ be formed in their hearts.

Grade Curriculum:
It is composed of the following:
“Presentation of the Junior Gideon’s Ministry”
“Leaders of the Junior Gideon’s”
“The Basic Needs of Children”
“The meetings with the Junior Gideon’s”
“Moment of History”
“The Prayer”
“Understanding the Children”
“Leadership”
“How to boost the Junior Gideon’s Ministry”

Textbook:
The textbook “School for Leaders – Junior Gideon’s” will be provided to students upon registration. The book is indispensable for accompanying the lessons.

Activities:
Each lecture given will have activities based on the given subjects.

Evaluation of the Students:
Through written work and the multiple choice test: each student will present their written work (if possible in 2 typed pages – and can also be handwritten on lose-leaf paper, with good handwriting)
The theme of the assignment is: “The Child in the Hands of the Potter” (based on the ministered studies)
The value of work, like the test, is 100 points (what will be evaluated: the content of the assignment and your presentation). The student’s final grade will be the largest number of points achieved on the assignment or on the test.

Frequency:
To have the right to the certificate of the Preparation Course for Junior Gideon Leaders, students must have attended at least 75% of classes.

Handouts of the Gideon School:
We have as teaching material for the Preparation Course for Junior Gideon Leaders, the book “School of Leaders of Junior Gideon’s”, containing the main lessons of the course.

Graduation and Consecration of the Leaders of the Junior Gideon’s:
There will be a graduation after completing the course.
The consecration (anointing with oil) of the new Counselors of the Junior Gideon’s will be held during a worship service (with the blowing of the shoffar) and the presence of his/her “Junior Gideon Troops”.
The troops should be according to age and number of Junior Gideon’s (i.e. Gideon’s Troop of 7 years, 8 years, etc).
